The safety content here is written as accurately as we can make it, and it cannot account for your specific workspace, ventilation, material or machine condition. Can I rely on the calculators for a commercial job?
Use them for planning and then verify against your own machine and materials before committing a real workpiece or quoting a customer. The physics based parts are exact, but real results depend on your specific machine, its condition, and the particular batch of material in front of you, none of which a general calculator can know.
Can I reuse the tables on my own site?
The content here is copyright and not licensed for republication. Linking to a page is welcome and needs no permission. If you want to use a table in teaching material or documentation, ask through the contact form and say what you need it for.
Who is responsible for safe operation?
The person operating the machine. This site documents hazards accurately and in detail, but it cannot see your workspace, your ventilation, your material or your machine condition. Manufacturer documentation for your specific equipment takes precedence over anything written here.
